Norm Peterson 是 NBC 的 Cheers 電視劇裏的一個角色, Cheers 於 1982 至 1993 播出, 每次半個小時, 播出了 11 季, 總共 270 集, 1987 年在台灣由台視於深夜時段播映, 劇名稱為歡樂酒店, 只播了第一季，以國語配音方式播出。
這個影集的靈魂人物是 Norm Peterson, 由 George Wendt 飾演, 每一集一開始一定是胖胖的 Norm 走進酒吧, 坐進吧枱角落的高腳椅, 吧枱侍者自動送上一杯啤酒, 然後當天的劇開始進行, George Wendt 星期二 (05/20/25) 走了, 享年 76 歲, 各大報的標題是 Norm 走了, 沒有人提起 George Wendt, Cheers 的主題曲 Where everybody knows your name 那個大家都認得你的地方最終只適用在 Norm Peterson, 演 Norm 的 George Wendt 卻找不到 Where everybody knows your name 那個大家都認得你的地方.

本屆蕭邦鋼琴大賽另一個受到矚目的現象是亞裔參賽者的佔比相當驚人。第一輪84位參賽者中，亞裔參賽者的比例大約佔60%。晉級決賽的11位參賽者雖然來自7個國家，但除了來自喬治亞的David Khrikuli和波蘭本地鋼琴家Piotr Alexewicz之外，其他鋼琴家不是來自東亞國家，就是擁有亞裔血統。相較而言，其他三大鋼琴賽事雖然也都有為數不少的亞裔參賽者，比例上卻沒有蕭邦大賽如此懸殊。
